Don't let my daughter's look fool you, she isn't terribly studious. LOL She just likes her new glasses.A friend let my borrow her IEW TWSS DVD's. I have only watched the first disc so I have only a mini review. The dvd itself is only mildly interesting, but the concept of KWO or keyword outlines and then rewriting from them is great. I think it is a great help with narration. I know for my boys I am having them make those KWO and then narrate back to me from them, It seems to be helping them give more complete narrations.
With dd we are just getting into them and she is slowly starting to write from them.
So far I think these has been very helpful and I wish I would have tried it sooner, but at least it isn't too late. One thing that I like about using just TWSS is that I can take passages from what I am already using, thereby reinforcing what we are already learning and laying a good foundation for writing later on down the road.
